Line of Fire’s multi-hit, non-ceramic design provides the added protection they need in deadly circumstances.
It is also more durable, can be customized based on size, and cost-efficient over the long-run.

NIJ LEVEL III (SINGLE PLATE)

6 shots of 7.62 x 51 mm M80 Ball
evenly spaced (each shot 2 inches
or 50.8 mm from the edge). As
well as new durability requirements
such as a drop test and various
environmental tests (see NIJ 0101.06

Line of Fire's armor has been qualified to comply in accordance with NIJ 0101.06. Formal certification of Line of Fire's armor in currently underway. Line of Fire 's armor is not officially certified to the NIJ 0101.06 STD, but expects to be so soon.

2 shots, 4 inch separation

Line Of Fire (SINGLE PLATE)

2 multiple-shot bursts at 700 rpm
with 47 mm x 7 mm x 47 mm spacing
on the same plate. First grouping
used 7.62 x 39 mm mild steel core
(123 grain) rounds at an average
velocity of 717 meters per second.
Second grouping used 7.62 x 51 mm
NATO M80 Ball (148 grain) rounds at
an average velocity of 839 meters
per second. Plate was dropped on a
concrete floor from a height of 5
feet before each shot grouping.
