Recently, Line of Fire was contracted to provide armor protection for a police surveillance van. Working closely with the client, Line of Fire was able to provide a custom-fit soft armor solution to their Ford™ E350 van. During the process, Line of Fire identified potential vulnerable areas and provided recommendations for additional coverage. Line of Fire’s recommendations were fully supported by the client. The result was a laser-cut solution providing enhanced soft armor protection to more than 100% of the area Line of Fire was originally asked to cover. Even with the additional coverage, the enhanced soft armor protection was easily integrated, while only adding an additional 120 lbs of total weight.
